![]() I'm using the exact same combination of Rugged 3-lug mount and ILWT adapter and have had no issues at all. My MP5 build which has a 3 lug navy barrel fits fine. Responsive on rugged trails, Nike Terra Kiger 9 has a low profile. I only came across one drawing showing them to be. Back to School: use code SCHOOL20 for an extra 20 off select styles. I'm not sure what the correct specs of the lugs should be at their widest. I'm seeing the widest parts of the lugs around. I have the adapter and end cap I'm playing with now. Not that you should compare numbers when they weren't tested on the same day, same host, same ammo, etc (because if you did the numbers will be off in one direction or the other). What I mean is the adapter will not lock into place since the lugs seem to be too wide to fit inside the recessed areas also. While building the Razor, we focused on creating a light weight and compact suppressor that features a deep tone, back pressure reducing design. And also keep in mind that Rugged's advertised numbers for the Obsidian 9 are from FM Hush 165gr 9mm, but it doesn't mention that on their web page. Repeat until smooth.Even if I do that, which will most likely cause the aluminum end cap of the rugged mount to wear, the 3 ilwt adapter will not seat properly on the inside. Put the mount in the adapter and push or tap the 3 lug mount into the Rugged adapter. Oddly, Facebook has cut the video off at the 1 minute mark. GSL Technologies FatMan - Rugged Obsidian 9 - Dead Air Wolfman - GSL Technologies Phoenix Host weapon is a Brugger & Thomet APC9K Pro. I have an obsidian 45 and swapped the the front cap to 9mm and run it pretty much full time on 9mm PCC. There are companies that will over bore your can to accept larger calibers though. I know the form 4 specifies what caliber the can is for and changing it is questionable. Then, on a workbench or other solid surface, add a little gun oil on the mating surfaces of the adapter and mount. Comparison: - Unsuppressed - Silencerco Omega 9K with custom long 3-lug mount. Don’t think rugged sells sauce cups individually unfortunately. Take the silencer and 3 lug mount off the firearm. ![]() ![]() This is a known issue with the Rugged 3 lug adapters, they are machined really tight for some reason. guys! First timer here ?My Obsidian 45 is my first can, I mounted it on my APC9 with the 3 lug adapter so I know how it works. ![]() This is what the 3 lug adapter should look like when it is screwed into the back of the can. The only time the spring is compressed is when you mount the can to the gun (slide can over barrel, compress spring, twist, release). The spring does not compress when the gun is fired like a normal piston would because a piston is designed to allow the firearm to move backwards without the can moving at all (this allows the barrel to move backwards in a browning style handgun so it can cycle properly), with 3 lug the firearm would have to move forward to get the spring to compress because it is configured differently. There is a spring in the 3 lug adapter, it's the spring you depress when putting the can on so it stays attached, the 3 lug system is designed to be quick attach/ detach. ![]()
